Warriors Arena Plan Stalls

The NBA’s Golden State Warriors have put their goal of opening a new, 18,000-seat arena on the San Francisco Bay waterfront by 2017 on hold for at least year, as the team released yet another artist rendering of the proposed venue.

The redesign is the third in the last 20 months for the Warriors, trying to appease potential neighbors and the city’s Bay Conservation and Development Commission, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The commission must give its stamp of approval f in Oakland beyond the 2016-17 season.
