Live Nation and AEG are testing a new way to sell tickets by allowing fans to try out the music first.

Both companies have signed on to use a service called DeliRadio to stream music by acts set to play some of their clubs, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Artists are able to choose how many songs to make available via DeliRadio players embedded on v in Portland, Ore., are seeing results using the streaming service.

Frank Rinaldi, marketing director for the club, told the paper he’s found some local bands are getting more traction through DeliRadio streaming and added he’s started to recognize interesting listening data.
