Take A Field Trip With Broken Social Scene, Interpol, Chvrches

Dates and a lineup are here for Arts & Crafts’ Field Trip Music & Arts Festival, making the event an annual affair. The Toronto label says its flagship group Broken Social Scene is once again headlining the fest, which will be your one chance to see the act in 2014.

Field Trip is expanding to two days, set for June 7-8 in downtown Toronto at Historic Fort York. The festival debuted last year as a one-day event to celebrate Arts & Crafts’ 10th anniversary.

The lineup includes Interpol, The Kills, Constantines, Chvrches, Washed Out, Half Moon Run, Lord Huron, Gord Downie, The Sadies, Kevin Drew, Shad, Austra, Fucked Up, A Tribe Called Red, Do Make Say Think, and more including Hydra (the project from AroarA, Feist and Snowblink).

“It was always going to be a tough task to match the magic and wonder of our first Field Trip but we’re going for it,” Arts & Crafts President and Field Trip Co-director Jeffrey Remedios said in a statement on the festival website. “We’re hosting a killer lineup that still includes – and now reaches beyond – the Arts & Crafts roster. Around the festival grounds you’ll find an even more awesome array of creative activities, artist collaborations and bespoke vendors.

“There’s so much to explore and experience that we couldn’t fit it all in one day, so Field Trip is now a weekend-long celebration of our great Toronto… our creative communities, our global spirit and our love of music.”
