Global Citizen Tickets Arrives Downunder
Global Citizen Tickets, rolled out in North America last year by Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis and The Global Poverty Project CEO Hugh Evans, has arrived in Australia.
More than 100 Australian acts signed on to donate concert tickets to consumers who undertook social change services. They included Gotye, The Temper Trap, Tame Impala, Violent Soho, Missy Higgins, Vance Joy, The Living End, and the John Butler Trio. Visitors Bruce Springsteen and Trent Reznor also lent their voices at the Australian launch.
