Kylie Minogue’s ‘Kiss Me Once’ Tour
The Guardian describes Kiss Me Once as “a blast of day-glo dance, of-the-moment collaborations, a lesson on how to be sexy and still polite – oh, and a bit of Enrique Iglesias, too.” The paper adds that the LP “was mooted as a departure from her staple diet of radio-friendly electropopis. … In fact, Kiss Me Once acts as more of a hybrid of Kylie’s recent albums, particularly the exuberance of 2010’s Aphrodite and the harder-edged electro of 2007’s X.”
Kylie’s 12th studio album was executive produced by Sia. Along with Sia and Kylie, additional writers include Pharrell Williams, who wrote and produced the track “I Was Gonna Cancel.”
Enrique Iglesias appears on the track “Beautiful.” He also helped write the tune.
The European excursion launches Sept. 24 in Liverpool. After seven nights in the U.K., the Australian pop star is headed to Spain, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Belgium, Ireland, Switzerland and Austria.
