Rock Band Buys Land To Build Allentown Music Venue
A business partnership that includes members of the rock band Live has been approved to purchase land in Allentown, Pa.,for a $42 million music venue and office building.
The Allentown Parking Authority voted Wednesday to approve the sale of the downtown lot for $1.4 million to a partnership of Think Loud Development and GSE Realty.
Think Loud is co-owned by three members of the band Live, which has roots 90 miles southwest of Allentown, in York.
They are seeking to build a six-story facility with a 6,200-square-foot restaurant, a multi-level club, a private VIP lounge and 31,200 square feet of office space on the top two floors.
Construction could begin early next year.
