Gary Haber Dies

Gary Haber, 68, veteran entertainment industry business manager/CPA, died in Los Angeles April 7. 

Haber’s clients included acts like Carrie Underwood, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Julianne Hough, Peter Frampton, and Joe Cocker.

Since founding The Haber Corporation in Encino, Calif., in 1977, his client list grew so large that he opened a second office in Nashville and had an employee roster of 80.

Although he was a business manager, he reportedly took on the role of artist manager too, bailing some clients out of jail and sending others to rehab, while also once involving himself in a divorce proceeding.

The company expanded in 2000, partnering with Mark Robertson to open Loire Valley-based Haber & Robertson International.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 11, at 2 PM at Mt. Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries located at 6150 Mount Sinai Drive, Simi Valley, CA 93063.
