Sometimes You Can Buy A Thrill
For a band that hardly ever toured during its first few years of Stardom, Steely Dan has been making up for lost time since the early ‘90s when Donald Fagen and Walter Becker decided to do it again. While not an annual presence on the concert scene, Steely Dan has toured more years than not during the past two-plus decades, reminding us that their songs are as fresh today as when they were first released, some of which were issued as singles during the Nixon administration.
