Ichthus Festival Delays Relaunch
A long-running Christian music festival that was canceled in 2013 over financial issues has delayed a relaunch until 2015.
Organizers of the Ichthus Music Festival had planned to hold the event June 4-7 at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.
But following “this year’s unusually high number of snow days, school calendars have been extended into and beyond the festival dates. This has made it impossible for many to attend,” said a statement on the fest’s website.
The relaunch is now set for July 8-11, 2015, and tickets sold for this year’s event will be honored at that time, organizers said. Ichthus was purchased by Creation Festivals in 2013.
