Classic Yoshiki

Yoshiki, the leader and drummer of the prototypical Japanese visual-kei band X Japan, is currently on a world tour – but not playing the usual pop metal that made him famous.

He’s playing classical music on piano accompanied by a string quartet in support of a new album of dramatic “classical” versions of Yoshiki’s music, both with X Japan and solo.

The album was produced in conjunction with Sir George Martin and several symphony orch in October.
