Major Live Sector Names Head To Bigsound

The first lineup of speakers at BigSound conference and showcase in Australia includes some big names, such as The Windish Agency’s Tom Windish and Paradigm’s Kevin French.

Also named were Windish’s Avery McTaggart, St Jerome’s Laneway Festival’s Danny Rogers and Jerome Borazio, the Sydney Opera House’s Ben Marshall and Superfly and Bonnaroo’s Chris Sampson.

Bigsound is Sept. 10-12 in Brisbane.

Other U.S. names included Sean Carlson of FYF Fest, James Minor of SXSW, Michelle Cable of Panache Booking and Josh Moore of The Bowery Presents.

The list also has execs from the UK (Adam Ryan of The Great Escape, Jamie Wade of the UK’s X-Ray Touring) Asia (Justin Sweeting and Melissa Yong of Artist Voice Asia), Germany (Mario Stresow of FKP Scorpio and Henning Ahrens of Four Artists Booking Agentur) and Iceland (Grimur Atlason of Iceland Airwaves).
