Video Madness: Solange Knowles Attacks Jay-Z
No one knows what caused the dust up, but there’s video of Solange Knowles hitting Jay Z while Beyoncé stood by and watched.
Obtained by gossip site TMZ, the video shows Jay Z, Beyoncé and her sister Solange entering an elevator at New York City’s Standard Hotel during the Met Gala after party. The action started as soon as the elevator doors closed as Solange began hitting her ultra-famous brother-in-law.
No one is saying what the fight was about and the video’s lack of sound doesn’t give anything away. TMZ pointed out that the bodyguard pressed the emergency stop button, presumably to keep the conflict private.
Once the elevator reached ground level, Beyoncé and Solange climbed into one car while security directed Jay Z to another vehicle.
