A Few More Dates: Elton John & The Black Keys

No need to have the blues just because it’s Monday. After all, The Black Keys have added a handful of North American dates to their Turn Blue World Tour. Or if you’re more of an Elton John fan, we’ve got a few new gigs to offer you too.

True Blue, which was released in May, marks The Black Keys’ eighth studio album.

Festival D'ete de Quebec, Quebec City, QC, Canada

Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have a packed tour schedule that stretches into December with more than 60 dates. The duo returns to the road later this month with a series of European festival appearances, starting with Southside Festival in Neuhausen ob Eck, Germany, June 20.

Here are the new North American dates:

Sept. 17 – Ottawa, Ontario, Canadian Tire Centre  
Sept. 23 – Brooklyn, N.Y., Barclays Center
Sept. 28 – Chicago, Ill., United Center
Nov. 3 – Oakland, Calif., Oracle Arena       
Nov. 4 – Sacramento, Calif., Sleep Train Arena       
Nov. 6 – Inglewood, Calif., The Forum

Cage The Elephant supports Sept. 17, 23 & 28. Jake Bugg is the special guest Nov. 4 & 6. A presale begins Tuesday, June 3 at 10 a.m. local time. The general onsale starts Friday, June 6 at 10 a.m. local time.

Elton John is another busy guy with places to go and people to see. With more than 50 dates on his plate, he’ll also be crisscrossing the Atlantic, with shows in North America and Europe booked through the end of the year.  

The Crocodile Rocker has recently added two California shows – Oct. 2 at the SAP Center At San Jose and Oct. 4 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.

Tickets go on sale Monday, June 9 at 10 a.m. PDT.
