Problem For Café Del Mar

After launching last year at Sydney’s Cockle Bay wharf, the future expansion of the Café del Mar brand in Australia might be held up.

Recently when major shareholder Michael Vale went public about opening an outlet in Melbourne’s St. Kilda this year, managing director John Zappia told SmartCompany that Vale had been removed as a director and had no right to speak for the brand.

He said the issue was in the hands of the lawyers.
