Concertgoer Leaves Dog In Car
A man attending a Journey and Steve Miller Band concert at Bethel Woods Center For The Arts in Liberty, N.Y., was cited by police for leaving his dog in a car with the windows rolled up during the show.
Police said several Good Samaritans attending the June 17 show told troopers about the dog, which was locked in a car on a day when temperatures reached the mid-80s.
Troopers gained access to the vehicle and removed a poodle named Milo. The owner eventually showed up at the state police command center where he was ticketed for failing to provide food and water to a confined animal and locking a companion animal in a vehicle during extreme temperatures.
