The festival, which is on the country’s Baltic coast at Gdynia, parted company with main sponsor Heineken brewery after last year’s event, when the 10-year contract came to an end.
The city of Gdynia is believed to still be helping out to the tune of 3 million zlotys ($990,000).
Open’er promoter promoter Alter Art canceled its 2014 Coke Live Music Festival after the soft drinks sponsor pulled out.
The acts on this year’s Open’er July 2-5 included MGMT, Pearl Jam, Phoenix, The Black Keys, Haim, Interpol, Darkside, Bastille, and Rudimental.
