Car Hits Cop

A man was arrested after hitting a police officer with his car following a Jason Aldean concert at Xfinity Theatre in Wallingford, Conn., Aug. 2.

Officers conducting a traffic stop detail for the show saw the man driving erratically, according to a police spokesman.

An officer was hit while attempting to stop the car. He was then taken by ambulance to the hospital and treated for minor injuries, according to WTNH-TV.

The man was charged with DUI and evading responsibility among other charges.
