Juanes Slots Free Shows
Promoting “peace, cultural and social change,” each concert is being planned as a unique event that the country’s citizens have never seen before. The Latin superstar has spent two months rehearsing in preparation for the gigs.
It begins with a concert in the northern Colombian town of Montería Aug. 19. Also in the works are shows set for Pasto Aug. 24; Pereira Aug. 28; Valledupar Sept. 4 and Bucaramanga Sept. 9.
Each concert will take place in areas where the people can freely gather. For the Montería show, Juanes will play on a stage floating on the Sinu river.
Various charitable and educational activities will coincide with the concerts in each city.
“I have the desire to connect with places that I have never visited before, to bring this show that fills me with so much enthusiasm, and at the same time to learn more about each region – know their concerns and wishes 00 but above all things, unite hearts through music,” Juanes said. “Next year we will be visiting other cities but we wanted Loco de Amor to kick off in a different way. I want to get closer to Colombia through the art of music; give dignity, importance and relevance to other areas of the country and break with the established schemes.”
