“One More For The Fans! – Celebrating The Songs & Music of Lynyrd Skynyrd” is set for Nov. 12. In addition to the evening’s honoree, the lineup also includes Jason Isbell, Jamey Johnson, Aaron Lewis, moe., Gov’t Mule, Robert Randolph, Blackberry Smoke, Cheap Trick and Donnie Van Zant. Plus, an all-star house band led by Grammy Award-winning producer Don Was.
Organizers are promising more performers as well as surprise guests.
Of course, with all this talent you can bet the evening will be preserved for the ages. Word is the show will be filmed and recorded for distribution across multiple platforms.
Why the Fox Theatre in Atlanta? As part of a campaign to save the theatre from destruction, Lynyrd Skynyrd recorded its famous live album, One More From The Road, at the venue.
