Robin Williams Dead At 63
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Marin County Sheriff’s coroner division said it appeared Williams died of asphyxiation, though toxicology resting testing will be conducted, according to a press release from the department.
Williams lived at the home with his wife, and was last seen in the residence about 10 p.m. Aug. 10. Williams shot to fame as a manic space alien in “Mork and Mindy” in the 1970s before winning acclaim as an actor, winning an Oscar for best supporting actor in “Good Will Hunting.”
He recently reprised his role as Theodore Roosevelt in the third of the “Night At The Museum” movie series. He recently was signed to reprise another signature role, Mrs. Doubtfire, in a sequel to be directed by Chris Columbus and most recently appeared opposite Annette Bening in “The Face of Love.”
