Such was Lorde’s rapid ascent that she’s just now doing her first headline tour in her home country of New Zealand.

Frontier Touring and Brent Eccles Entertainment have her at Horncastle Arena, Christchurch, Oct. 27, Dunedin Town Hall Oct. 29, TSB Bank Arena, Wellington, Oct. 31 and Vector Arena, Auckland Nov. 1.

“I wanted to end the year by playing New Zealand, they’re the best crowds,” said Lorde, who recently ended a 23-date North American run.

Lorde has so far performed only four shows in New Zealand. There were two small shows in Auckland and Wellington, a free iHeartRadio show at Auckland’s Vector Arena, and a makeup appearance at Silo Park Jan. 29 for Laneway Festival after pulling out at the last minute to attend the Grammys.

After winning two awards, Lorde flew home the next day, literally going from the airport to the venue to play to a near-sellout crowd of 10,000.
