Ken Fermaglich is their agent. The act, which releases an album this year, temporarily relocated back to Australia from its Los Angeles base.
Fleming Artists took on three acts from its Australian operations after seeing them at Toronto’s Busker Festival before 500,000 visitors. The acts are troubadour and guitar virtuoso Daniel Champagne, swing-folk group Bearded Gypsy Band and “psychedelic family jug band” Perch Creek. Says John Sinclair, who runs Fleming Artists Australia, “I tell my Australian acts they shouldn’t assume they can translate to the North American market. But Australian acts thrive on performing. When you do 120 shows a year, you’re match fit when you play to any overseas audiences.”
