MSG Sued Over Concert Beating

A New York man who says he was injured by a group of drunken concertgoers during a Billy Joel concert at  has filed suit against The Madison Square Garden Co.

Ari Ganeles claims he suffered a torn rotator cuff, fractures to his nose, arms and ribs, and facial injuries after objecting to the behavior of a drunken group, according to court documents obtained by the New York Daily News.

Attorney David Jaroslawicz told the paper ushers had asked the group to settle down before the attack but continued to serve them alcohol at their seats. Ganeles has asked MSG to turn over the names of the drunken patrons and a video of the brawl, the suit says.
