Joe Perry Books A Book Tour

Joe Perry wants you to read a book. His book, specifically. The Aerosmith guitarist is doing a book tour to coincide with the release of his memoir. Destinations include Chicago, Los Angeles, Cleveland and Phoenix.

“Rocks: My Life In And Out Of Aerosmith” lands in stores Oct. 7. Carrying a forward by Johnny Depp, the book has been described by Slash as “an insightful and harrowing roller coaster ride.” When the former Guns N’ Roses / Velvet Revolver guitarist calls something “harrowing,” you gotta figure it’s really, really scary in parts.

Along with Perry’s own words describing all the fame and excesses that came with living the rock star life, the book includes more than 100 photographs depicting the axeman on and off of the stage.

But perhaps the best news for fans is that he will do a book tour and sign copies of his autobiographies. Here are the dates:
