Taps Pote, Browne

Melbourne, Australia’s 53,000-capacity sports and entertainment venue  added two new names to its senior management team. 

Daniel Pote begins as director of sales, marketing and communications Oct. 6 while Tim Browne joins the business as manager, legal and company secretary Oct. 13.

Pote was previously at toy maker Mattel as senior director of sales for Australia and New Zealand. CEO Paul Sergeant said Pote’s skills and experience “will support the progress of Etihad Stadium with innovative initiatives such as the recently launched ‘Connected Stadium’ (wireless) project.”
