Vince Gill Appointed To Predators Foundation Board

Country singer Vince Gill and Kristen Laviolette have been appointed to positions on the Nashville Predators Foundation’s board of directors.

Gill, a County Music Hall of Famer, is a longtime Predators season-ticket holder. Laviolette is the wife of new Predators coach Peter Laviolette. Their appointment was announced Thursday through a team release.

The release also said Gill would join the Predators broadcast team for a select number of games this season.

At a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Ford Ice Center last month, Predators CEO Jeff Cogen announced a partnership between Gill and the Predators that would work to provide scholarship opportunities for children to participate in hockey and skating programs at the new facility.
