Statue Of Country Star Vince Gill To Be Unveiled
Country music star and Oklahoma native Vince Gill is being honored at his high school alma mater with the unveiling of a life-sized bronze statue.
Gill is expected to attend Wednesday’s statue dedication and unveiling at Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City. The nearly 10-foot-tall sculpture depicts Gill standing with his hands resting on an electric guitar.
Alumni and students are expected to welcome Gill back to the campus during a short assembly.
Gill is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
