Foo Fighters Fight Their Way Across The Pond

Of course, like most “secret” shows, Friday’s gig at the Roxy isn’t exactly classified information. Sure, the concert isn’t listed on the venue’s calendar, but it is mentioned on its Facebook page. To get into the show, you’ll have to win tickets via KROQ or Amoeba Records.

A commenter on Facebook wrote, “You guys know the pattern right? After this show they will announce a Stadium show in L.A area they have done this in Chicago and Washington D.C.” Guess we’ll have to wait and see. But we won’t have to wait too long because Foo Fighters say that North American tour dates will be announced Nov. 18.

The Roxy show takes place the same night the new episode of “Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways” airs on HBO. The series documents the band’s process of recording its eighth studio album in different cities in the U.S. The Sonic Highways LP was released this week.

Naturally, the Nov. 14 episode takes place near the Los Angeles area. It was recorded at Rancho de la Luna in Joshua Tree and features Joe Walsh.

Foo Fighters are continuing to expand its 2015 world tour plans. New stops added to the itinerary include Norway, Sweden and the U.K. Check out the schedule below with the new dates bolded:
