Odds & Ends (The Sequel): Emmylou Harris Tribute, Nelsonville Music Fest, Noise Pop
The tribute to Emmylou Harris keeps on growing as Alison Krauss and Conor Oberst join a lineup that already reads like a who’s who of music.
Called “The Life & Songs Of Emmylou Harris,: An All-Star Celebration” the Jan. 10 event at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., includes the guest of honor as well as Kris Kristofferson, Joan Baez, Sheryl Crow, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Mavis Staples, Martina McBride, John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams, Trampled By Turtles, Steve Earle, Patty Griffin, Rodney Crowell, Iron & Wine, Shawn Colvin, Shovels & Rope, Sara Watkins and The Milk Carton Kids.
Don Was and Buddy Miller are the show’s music directors. The concert will be filmed and recorded for distributions across multiple platforms.

Country music icon Merle Haggard tops the lineup for the Nelsonville Music Festival. Scheduled for Robbins Crossing @ Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio, May 28-31 the weekend will see St. Vincent, Trampled By Turtles, Hurray For The Riff Raff, Moon Hooch and My Bubba grace the Nelsonville stage with more acts to be announced.

So far, Caribou, Dan Deacon, Slow Magic, Giraffage, The Church, Surfer Blood, Craft Spells, Cherry Glazerr, No Joy, Jessica Pratt, The Black Ryder, Cathedrals, Six Organs of Admittance, Tony Molina and Spazzkid are on the ticket with more to be announced.
With shows taking place at various venues throughout San Francisco, Noise Pop is selling a limited amount of early bird badges for $125. Once those are gone the price goes up to $150. Super Fan badges are also available.
