The European excursion is scheduled in between batches of North American gigs in June and July.
The world tour in support of Swift’s official pop debut, 1989, will keep her busy with more than 70 dates already scheduled around the globe. The trek kicks off with two nights in Tokyo May 5-6.
1989 single “Shake It Off” is nominated for Grammy awards for best pop solo performance, song of the year and record of the year. The tune also helped earn Max Martin a nod for producer of the year.

That lucky duck Bill Maher is ringing in 2015 in Hawaii. Marking his fourth set of New Year’s Eve performances on the islands, the comedian/TV host/political commentator is spending Dec. 31 at Honolulu’s Neal S. Blaisdell Center. The next evening you can find Maher – aka “the Don Ho of New Year’s” – in Kahului at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
“I think everybody wants to be in Hawaii in December … This was my plan all year, get my ass booked there for New Year’s,” Maher said.
Although special guests aren’t guaranteed, you never know who might show up. Last year actor Sean Penn and director Michael Moore appeared to introduce Peal Jam’s Eddie Vedder, who played a surprise acoustic set.
Tickets are available now. Visit BillMaher.com for more information.
