Live Nation & Uber Team Up

For those who Uber their way to concerts, Live Nation just announced a one-click solution. The Live Nation concerts app now integrates the popular, alternative taxi service.

Live Nation says it is also creating special Uber pick-up/drop-off zones located near the main entrances to its amphitheatres, and the app features an “auto address” feature for each venue so the Uber drivers can get there without too much hassle. Also, that $30 discount for new Uber riders is in place if used through the Live Nation app, which is available, obviously, through iTunes (iPhone) and Google Play (Android).

We’ve asked if surge pricing is applicable and are awaiting a response, but the press release does call it a “safe and hassle-free Uber ride.”
