Delta Rae Has Album, Will Travel
After It All is the name of Delta Rae’s sophomore studio work, arriving April 7 via Sire/Warner Bros. Following the release the band will undertake a series of shows beginning in Philadelphia April 9 and continuing to May 9 when Delta Rae rolls into Raleigh, N.C.
Delta Rae worked on After It All during an 18-month span that saw the band recording in Los Angeles with Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Fleetwood Mac) then moving to Raleigh for more work before finally landing in Bridgeport, Conn., where sessions were helmed by Peter Katis (Interpol, The National).
“We kept coming back to ourselves as we were writing,” Brittany Holljes said. “These songs were integral to our own stories in our own lives. It had to be an honest reflection of what we were feeling instead of being projected onto characters we created.”
