Porter Leaves Bumbershoot
Chris Porter, longtime talent buyer for One Reel – the promotion company for the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle – has exited the company.

The festival, in need of capitalization, has brought on partner AEG Live and Porter now finds himself “in an unsatisfactory situation.”
Porter moved to Seattle from Boston in 1997 to work with the festival, which he called “my love, my art and my living for quite some time.”
He added that he is excited for the next phase of his career but, until it materializes, will be freelancing at Seattle events.
