Xavier Rudd & The United Nations in the U.S.A.

The Australian singer/songwriter made a name for himself for his one-man-band shows that boasted a half-dozen guitar choices, three didgeridoos and a variety of native drums. Now he’s teamed up with a group of international musicians representing folks from Australia, Indigenous Australia, South Africa, Samoa, Germany and Papua New Guinea. The act features guitar, bass, drums, percussion, keys, horns, flute and backing vocals.

Rudd & The United Nations recently shared the first tune from the group’s forthcoming album, Nanna, due out March 17 via Nettwerk. Here’s the track “Come People.”

The North American tour kicks off April 30 in Portland, Maine, and runs through the end of May. Here are the dates for the tour:
