So far, Garth Brooks’ return to the road has stayed east of The Rockies.  But that little geographical drama changed today with the announcement of his first California dates – two March nights in Sacramento.

Fans on the Pacific side of the Continental Divide probably felt the country legend was teasing them when he announced his Denver gigs.  Especially when audience demand resulted in six nights of Garth for the Mile High City.  So close, yet so far …

Now Brooks and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, are set for two shows at the Sleep Train Arena – March 27-28.  Tickets go on sale Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. PST.

Here’s Brooks’ complete schedule as it stands today:

Feb. 5-8 – Pittsburgh, Pa., Consol Energy Center
Feb. 20-21 – Detroit, Mich., Joe Louis Arena
Feb. 27–28 – Detroit, Mich., Joe Louis Arena
March 5-8 – Buffalo, N.Y., First Niagara Center
