The Dead Daisies are visiting Cuba as part of a cultural exchange organized by the Cuban Ministry of Culture. The band is composed of musicians that have played with Guns N’ Roses, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake and Ozzy Osbourne, with even more musicians coming along for the ride.

The band is expected to play the Cuba Rocks for Peace concert at Salon Rosado de la Tropical Feb. 28. The run of events begins with a cocktail party with the Cuban Ministry, Institute & Musicians in Havana Feb. 22.

Formed in 2012, the Dead Daisies has a rotating lineup and has toured with KISSAerosmith and ZZ Top, among others. It is expected to tour with KISS in June.
