Paul McCartney’s Summer In Europe

Paul McCartney’s “Out There” tour lands in London in late May and crosses the channel for shows in France, Holland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The May-July run will mark the second time the “Out There” tour has played Europe.  The former Beatle and his band performed in Poland, Italy and Austria in 2013.

The Euro trip also includes McCartney’s first shows in the U.K. since appearing at the 2012 Teenage Cancer Trust show at Royal Albert Hall. The tour’s Roskilde stop will be Macca’s first European festival gig in five years.

But Amsterdam has gone the longest without McCartney livening up the night air.  His June 7 gig will be the first time he’s played in that country’s capital city since he toured with Wings in 1972.

“I’m looking forward to taking the ‘Out There’ tour back to Europe this summer,” McCartney said.  “It’s been a little while since I’ve performed in some of these places so we know it’s going to be a fun tour.  I hope the audiences enjoy this tour as much as we’ve been enjoying it ourselves all over the world.”
