Waiting For The Rolling Stones
The band has been playing coy regarding the big news. During the last few days The Rolling Stones’ Twitter page has been pumping #SatisfactionThursday while billboards emblazoned with Stones imagery and teasing a Thursday event have been placed in several markets.
Plus, confirmation of one Rolling Stones concert came from the mayor of Nashville, Tenn., who said on Wednesday that an announcement would be made at 11 a.m. CDT about the band playing the city’s LP Field, according to television station WKRN.
But the same TV station reports that the official announcement by the band has been rescheduled for a later date. Citing a source, WKRN says, “An issue with the nationwide promoter’s ticketing is being blamed for the delay.”
Meanwhile, at JustAKissAway.rocks, you can enter your name in a contest where the winner will get to announce “Ladies & Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones!” at a concert. Grand prize is a trip for two to “an undisclosed location and a commemorative video shot by the Stones’ official videographer.” Stay tuned.
