Police have arrested two men in connection with an incident following a Jan. 31 concert at the
Washington Avenue Armory in Albany, N.Y.
Washington Avenue Armory took a turn when six fans were stabbed during the show and a woman was assaulted and robbed in the venue bathroom. At that time, the Armory released a statement that it is working to address the issues cited in the New York State Liquor Authority’s decision to revoke its license.
“Through cooperation with state and city authorities, the Armory has been working to resolve management and security concerns to ensure patrons’ safety is held at the utmost importance,” the statement said. “During this time, the Armory will continue to discuss and review improvements to arena operations and will provide a more comprehensive update in the near future.”
