New Acts To Perk Lowlands
The naming of another 13 acts may perk sales for The Netherlands’ Lowlands Festival, which has sold out for the last seven years.

This year the 55,000-capacity event at Biddinghuizen won’t go in the two or three hours it’s taken in the last two years, but festival chief Eric van Eerdenburg reports that tickets are still “going steadily.”
The addition of FFS (Franz Ferdinand & Sparks), James Bay, Limp Bizkit, Rudimental, The Maccabees, Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, Afterpartees, Vaults, La Sra. Tomasa, Mr Žarko & Band, Fuzz, Mini Mansions and Bleachers to the lineup will ensure it won’t be long crossing the line.
The other acts at Lowlands Aug. 21-23 include The Chemical Brothers, Interpol, Tame Impala, Underworld, Passenger, Bastille, SBTRKT, and Ben Howard.
