Promoter Arrested Over Fake Crow Show

Police recently arrested a New Jersey woman for selling tickets to a Sheryl Crow concert that was never going to take place.

Authorities started looking into things when they heard of a concert being planned at the Flying W airport in Medford, N.J., by KBR promotions, the South Jersey Times reported. But when police contacted the airport to discuss safety for the show, things apparently didn’t add up.

Police said in a statement to the Times that promoter Kelly Bryan was arrested May 9 and charged with theft and deceptive business practices after she admitted the artist was not actually booked.

Bryan is reportedly being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
