Flow To Ljubljana
The organisers of Finland’s Flow Festival are setting up a Slovenian version on a disused industrial complex in Ljubljana.
It’s the second fest that the Finns have exported this year, following promoter Hardi Loog twinning his Weekend Festival with a new outdoor event at the Estonian coastal resort city of Pärnu.
The Slovenian Flow, which has a 20,000 capacity and is on the capital city’s old Tobacna industrial estate, will happen June 26-28 with headliners Pet Shop Boys, Metronomy, and Roisin Murphy. Like its Helsinki equivalent, the new festival will focus on inspiring and current music, urban culture and visual arts.
Local restaurateurs, breweries and wine producers will be responsible for the festival’s food and drink offering.
Other acts on the bill include Jose Gonzalez, Derrick May, Run The Jewels, Caribou, and Dixon.
