Wrestler Dusty Rhodes Dies

Virgil Runnels, aka Dusty Rhodes, 69, a World Wrestling Entertainment hall of famer, died in Orlando, Fla., June 11 after paramedics reportedly responded to a call to his home the previous day because he took a fall.

Rhodes, known as “The American Dream,” was also known for wearing a polka-dotted outfit during his heyday as a professional wrestler, and he held three titles.

Rhodes apparently suffered numerous complications from the fall that ultimately led to his passing. He is also father to WWE wrestlers Goldust (Dustin Runnels) and Stardust (Cody Runnels).
