As there were regular social network reports of Dave Grohl’s leg injury it was obvious to most of the crowd in The Netherlands that the American rockers wouldn’t be able to make the next day’s show.
Festival spokesman Niek Murray told Pollstar that a few people wanted refunds, but the vast majority of the 70,000 crowd understood that the situation was beyond anyone’s control.
The acts that did manage to make it to Pinkpop June 12-14 included Muse, Robbie Williams, Pharrell Williams, and Faith No More.
