Blue Note Expands To China, Hawaii
The expansion brings to 14 the number of Blue Note-branded venues worldwide. Blue Note has partnered with Winbright Culture and Media Co. to open a Beijing outpost in March 2016, which will be followed by additional locations in Shanghai and Taipei within the next three years.
Blue Note Hawaii is expected to open in Waikiki by early 2106, in partnership with Outrigger Enterprises Group.
Talent buying and programming for the new locations will be handed out of Blue Note Entertainment Group’s New York office.
