Moore’s new album – Wild Ones – drops Aug. 21 on MCA Nashville.  Described as “caught somewhere between blue-collar country and stadium-sized rock ’n’ roll,” the long player features 13 tracks all written by Moore.  Most of the songs were written on the road and recorded whenever the singer/songwriter had some time off from his seemingly constant touring plans.

“My favorite part of this crazy life we have is playing live,” Moore said.  “We’ve been playing so many of these new songs in the live show because we road-tested them night after night before recording what became the final album.  They were a huge part in helping me formulate what Wild Ones became … we are a tribe.  I’m excited to get back out there and headline and put a show together that is all about them.”

You can get a taste of Moore’s concert savvy when he performs his current single, “I’m To Blame,” on “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock” airing Tuesday night at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
