Buffett Fans Scolded For Leaving Homemade Toilets At Show
Parrotheads are apparently too busy wasting away in Margaritaville to wait in line for the bathroom.
Mansfield police tell The Sun Chronicle that despite warnings against the practice, many fans at the Jimmy Buffett concert Saturday at the Xfinity Center brought homemade, portable toilets for the party in the parking lot.
Lt. Sam Thompson says the most common model is a 5-gallon bucket with its rim lined with a foam pool noodle for a seat, stashed inside a tent.
Thompson estimates that 75 to 100 people were instructed to take down makeshift outhouses, but officers found seven to 10 left behind after the show.
