Halsey

Ashley Frangipane’s artwork and poetry drew a sizeable, and devoted, social media following long before she became Halsey, the 20-year-old enigma poised for stardom on the concert stage.

She’s the real deal, with a point of view and focus to rival artists like Liz Phair, to whom she’s been compared – if Liz Phair played the Warped Tour, says Rolling Stone.

Paradigm’s Marty Diamond is but one member of Team Halsey that is working seamlessly to develop her into a global artist. Paradigm’s Matte Galle, AM Only’s Matt Meyer and CODA’s Alex Hardee on the agency side, and manager Jason Aron of Aron Projects, work collaboratively as a unit on Halsey’s behalf.

“Everyone on her team pulls their weight and it’s a complete team effort – from the way we’re negotiating deals to the way we approach festivals. And she is deserving of this team,” Diamond told Pollstar.

“It got pulled together partially from relationships. Matt Meyer works with others on the management team and Matte Galle is very tight with management as well. We have a plan of attack, constant calls between us, in terms of what we’re going after, what festivals we’re pursuing, who’s going to call whom; a lot of discussion and creative thinking goes into this.

“She’s incredibly focused, incredibly determined and she knows what she wants to accomplish,” Diamond continued. “That makes the job a lot more fun and the proof’s in the pudding. She’s selling out everywhere. A tour goes on sale and it’s sold out. We put up another tour, and it blows out. The support slots have all been marquee spots and the festival looks have all been marquee festival looks.”

Part of the global strategy includes a partnership with CODA, and Diamond says Halsey has Australia and Southeast Asia in her sights before returning to the U.S.
