Britney Spears Extends Vegas Residency

Britney Spears and Las Vegas just might be a match made in booking heaven. Not only has the singer added 2016 dates to her “Piece Of Me” residency at The Axis @ Planet Hollywood but she has extended her stay at the venue through 2017.

Sure, Spears could tour the country a la Janet Jackson and Madonna, selling zillions of tickets and leaving fans happy and contented. But having a Las Vegas residency means she doesn’t have to schlep from city to city to city, shaking hands and doing photo ops with local media personalities. Now the fans come to her, load up on a generous dose of Brit hits and everybody is happy.

Of course, fans don’t have to wait until next year to see Spears in action. The star’s residency still has 2015 shows scheduled from October to New Year’s Eve.

But back to the new residency dates – Jan. 2-3, Feb. 13-14, 17, 19-20, 24, 26-27, April 6, 8-9, 13, 15-16, 20 & 22.
