Janet Jackson Adds Third Leg Of Dates

Janet Jackson’s ‘Unbreakable’ World Tour keeps on growing as the superstar adds dates for May and June. Los Angeles, North Little Rock, Montreal and Atlantic City are just a few of the cities added to the schedule, with presales and public onsales starting next week.

Jackson is touring in support of her new album, Unbreakable, arriving Oct. 2 on Rhythm Nation.

Having launched her tour in Vancouver, British Columbia, last week, Jackson has been following an eastward path with concerts in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Here’s what the Winnipeg Sun’s Darryl Sterdan had to say about Tuesday’s show:

“Dressed for business in white-and-gold dance togs and sneakers, fronting a crew of dancers, supported by a slick but unobtrusive band and surrounded by all the usual high-tech concert gear and gizmos, she took fans on a 90-minute dance-marathon sprint through her catalogue. It was a show seemingly designed to reinforce her status as the original pop queen. And perhaps to notify pretenders she is out to reclaim her throne. If so, mission accomplished.”

Jackson’s next stop is Sept. 11 at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. However, today’s focus is on the newly announced third leg and how you can buy tickets.
